Awareness and benefits of government schemes should reachto MSMEs / Entrepreneurs : Dr. Dipen Agrawal
Nagpur: A delegation of Chamber of Associations of Maharashtra Industry and Trade (CAMIT) led by President, Dr. Dipen Agrawal met Dr. Vipin Itankar (IAS), District Collector (Nagpur).

Dr. Dipen Agrawal, felicitated Dr. Vipin Itankar with CAMIT scarf and floral bouquet and extended best wishes on being appointed as Nagpur District Collector. Dr. Agrawal giving brief introduction of association said CAMIT is an apex body of trade, commerce and industry from state of Maharashtra and has remarkable presence in all districts. CAMIT acts as a bridge between the Central / State Government & business community so as to balance the interest of both sides. CAMIT and its constituents have worked in tandem with Nagpur Collectorate during the pandemic times. We were instrumental in arranging liquid oxygen for Nagpur district. Mobilising and distribution of food, medicine and other articles to migrant labours and homeless people, Dr. Agrawal added.
Delegation while discussing issues with Dr. Vipin Itankar, informed him that there is lack of information among the MSMEs and self-employed entrepreneurs, particularly in rural areas, about the various schemes offered by Union and State government to MSME. Delegation expressed that if first generation entrepreneurs from rural Nagpur are guided through reach-out programs it will have positive impact on rural economic activities.
Dr. Vipin Intankar appreciated the helping hand extended by CAMIT to district administration in past and in times to come. Dr. Vipin said that he will engage with all stakeholders to strategies seminars and reach-out programs for overall betterment of citizens of the District.
Dr, Dipen Agrawal expressing gratitude on behalf of business community from Nagpur District assured for full cooperation at short notice for all times to come.
