Successful men can wear their feelings on their sleeve. Nikesh Arora proved this at an Award function on Saturday. The Softbank president held his wife Ayesha’s hand through much of the evening. And when it was his turn to speak, he choked up talking about his ailing father and his family.
Arora has been a corporate superstar the last few years. But his identity was of a no-nonsense high-achiever who valued his privacy. Aside from wry comments on Twitter, Arora did not let his guard down. This was perhaps the first time people saw his emotional side. And it warmed him further to the audience.
