The Raisoni College of Law, keeping with their tradition, organized a Fresher’s Day party at a Pub called Nottee.
Fresh new faces with smiles that could melt ice, apprehensive giggles marked the Fresher’s Party time! This was a time when the students of first-year B.A.L.L.B and L.L.B students of 5 years and 3 years of Raisoni College of Law needed to be accepted by their seniors and welcomed into their groups.
The very aim of Fresher’s Day party served its purpose when the seniors welcomed the newcomers in a very amicable manner. To make the party more creative, the seniors had designed games and music to encourage the creative impulses of the juniors and to boost their confidence.
As part of the party, one of the games was to check the basic knowledge of Law of the freshers. This quizzing had its own humour with the seniors enjoying themselves to the hilt.
Another tradition of Raisoni is the game where a junior has to ask a senior for a dance or a ramp walk. It was more of a do or dare. While some were game to anything, some showed their apprehensions, timidity and fears.
The lilting music, the clink of ice, the tentative giggles, smiles and laughter marked the newcomers at the Nottee Pub.
It was a colorful occasion as freshers were dressed in their best attire. Apart from the performances, there was an interaction session with the audience where the students had to answer the seniors sitting in the audience.
The seniors dared to imitate their respective faculties too. Students of Raisoni College of Law partied as they welcomed the fresher’s in overwhelming style.
Finally the Mister and Miss Freshers were adjudged and crowned. Many dances were danced, ranging from very slow music to wild beats. The sumptuous food that was served appealed to the palate of everyone present. On the whole, the breaking of the ice and rapport establishment was perfect and done in a very smooth and professional manner.
