Nagpur: The Central Government has cancelled the scholarship given to students from minority communities from class 1 to 8, against which the West Nagpur AIMIM team has submitted a written memorandum to the Central Government which has been sent through the District Collector. In this memorandum demands such as the resumption of the scholarship scheme, providing sweaters to the school children and other demands have been put forth. Lakhs of people from minority communities in our country are below the poverty line.
They are already running their house with immense difficulty. Due to inflation, many children still do not have school uniforms and sweaters during winter. Children are not even wearing sweaters while going to school in the cold weather.
They are forced to face the wrath of the school administration. As a result of this, their health is being affected. Such a pathetic situation exists today. On top of this, the government’s dictatorship continues unabated. Scholarship scheme’s benefits have also been snatched away from the students. Due to this parents and children may not be able to afford school education due to the immense financial burden. The current minority affairs minister who should have ideally raised his voice against this injustice is silent.
So where will our minority community students study and from where will India move forward when children will be deprived of their rights. The West Nagpur AIMIM team took cognisance of the problems of the school children and placed them before the District Collector and submitted a written memorandum in this concern to the Central Government to inform them about the prevailing issues. West Nagpur President Mohammad Zafar Solanki, Arif Siddiqui Sahab, Sagir Bhai and Shahabuddin Bhai were present in the delegation which submitted the memorandum.
