Well wishers of Prashant Wasankar gather in large numbers to show solidarity with him

Action Committee formed for seeking Conditional Bail to Wasankar.

Nagpur News.

The complete and total control that Prashant Wasankar holds over many investors could be seen by the large gathering of over 200 investors who gathered at Dagdi Park in Ramdaspeth on July 29, 2014.

Advocate Ravi Rajkarne addressed the gathering of pro-Wasankar investors. The picture portrayed of Prashant Wasankar at the meeting was that of a very pious person and at the same time, all the complainants were depicted as evil persons.

After a lot of deliberations, the investors formed an Action Committee who will be forming pressure groups to seek Conditional Bail to Wasankar.

However, some of the investors who attended the court hearing raised some objections. One of the key queries that was raised by one of the investors pertained to prosecution and the public prosecutors who had mentioned in their plea that the EOW of Crime Branch had declared that they have seized all the incriminating documents, passports, 966 grams of gold jewellery, Rs 12 lakh in cash, 3 hard discs, Lap-Tops and Cheque books. However, what the cops failed to disclose by an act of will-full or by error omission the documents of the five properties that were seized. The value of the properties is said to be the safety of all the affected investors.

If by error, the properties are not disclosed and attached by the police, disposing of the same could hamper and that was the irking point for the investors who had complained to the crime branch.

Nagpur Today spoke to the Police Inspector of Economical Offenses Wing (EOW) P I Dane to enquire when Prashant Wasankar’s wife Bhagyashree Wasankar and the remaining 5 accused would be arrested? What he said startled us since he said that she and the other 5 accused are absconding and that the police officials are on the look-out for them.
