Lucknow: In a dramatic incident, a brave woman in Uttar Pradesh’s Lucknow decided to hit back at molesters to teach them a much-needed lesson. The incident took place on the night of March 19 in the city’s Gautam Palli area.
According to CCTV visuals, the girl is seen bashing the molesters real hard with the police baton. Reports state that a group of girls were being teased by a bike-borne gang while the cops kept watching the scene. Meanwhile, one of the girls from the group snatched the baton from one of the cop and bashed the eve-teasers to teach them a lesson for life.
In December 2016, multiple women were groped during New Year celebrations in Bangalore’s busy area- the Brigade Road. As per Bangalore Mirror, the brazen, mass molestation of women took place between as revellers gathered for New Year celebrations. The molesters passed lewd remarks on women on the streets and forced some of them to literally take off their footwear and run for help.

On March 20, another incident of molestation was reported from Bengaluru in which a 20 year-old-girl alleged that she was molested and touched inappropriately” by four men. The incident happened when she was returning home, along with her friend. Reports by news18 stated that the girl and her friend got into an argument with a group of people over violation of traffic rules. The girl said that not only did people slap her friend, but also asked her to learn Kannada”, the report stated.
