This video contains footages of Mahatma’s participation in freedom struggle. His favourite song ‘Vaishnav Jana to Taine jo Kahiye’ is played in the background.

Shyamrao Patil, a senior citizen, appreciated Maha Metro’s efforts to popularize khadi among youth. “Its heartening to see that Bapu’s favourite cloth is being marketed by Metro. I frequently travel by the Metro and see that the videos on khadi and charkha are played continuously. This will create awareness in today’s generation about khadi and many youngsters may get encouraged to buy a khadi garment,” he said.

Kamala Dube, a homemaker, also appreciated the videos. “My father and grandfather were freedom fighters and staunch Gandhians. Metro by highlighting the importance of khadi and charkha is in a way paying tribute to them and all those who participated in the freedom struggle. I appeal to people to buy at least one khadi garment and wear it on national holidays,” she said.
