Nagpur: An unidentified miscreant lifted a woman’s purse from a car and decamped with valuables worth Rs 51,000.
The complainant Pranav Anil Bhambore (32), a native of Amravati had arrived in city around 3.30 pm on Thursday. Pranav parked his car in front of Haldiram Hotel in Sadar and went for snacks along with wife. In the meantime, an unidentified miscreant lifted a purse belonging to Pranav’s wife from the unlocked car. The purse contained a mobile phone and cash Rs 6000 collectively valued at Rs 51,000.
Sadar PSI Varpade has booked the unidentified burglar under Section 379 of the IPC and searching him.
