Nagpur: After a video of stray dogs roaming inside a patient ward at Government Medical Collage and Hospital (GMCH) went viral on social media platforms on Wednesday morning, the hospital administration has ordered a thorough probe in this regard.
The shocking incindnet came briefly after 12 infants were given drops of hand sanitiser instead of polio drops at the Ghatanji Primary Health Centre in Yavatmal district during the pulse polio drive on Sunday. Not to mention fire at Bhandra district general hospital that killed 10 newborns on January 9. The series of events has again exposed the sloppy work at public hospitals, with hospital administration and government officials acting mute spectators.
