Nagpur: Sensation prevailed in central Nagpur on Sunday when a large turtle was seen in Naik Talao. Generally, a tortoise of such a huge size is not seen. The turtle was seen at 4.30 pm. According to residents, the NMC is pumping out water from Naik Talao for beautification due to which turtles are seen sitting on the shore.
A Large number of people gathered at Naik Talao to have a glimpse of the turtle. However, the turtle entered the lake due to the huge noise made by people. Videos of this turtle are also viral on social media.

The Naik Talao is going to be completely emptied by NMC for development works. The NMC informed the forest department to rescue the turtle. But when the rescue team reaches the lake, the turtle is not seen.
