Video: Lalit Parimoo to help youngsters fulfill their dreams

Nagpur: In another endeavor by another actor who aims at Giving Back to the Society, great Actor, Writer and Director Lalit Parimoo is planning to launch a talent search, development program and acting school in the city. In India, many actors have been known to “Give Back” to the society in various ways, be it through philanthropic activities or in lending their skills in identifying talents, talent development and launching them.

With a sole aim to reach out to the youngsters in Nagpur city through PR activities, Lalit Parimoo visited Nagpur Today’s office. In an exclusive chat with Nagpur Today, Lalit spoke about his life in Bollywood and how he has performed in hundreds of films and has also acted in several Television serials.  Lalit claimed that his journey started from Delhi theaters to Bombay and Bollywood. He also added that he too faced his share of ups and downs in his career. When asked about his favourite work which is close to his heart, he claimed that every work of his has been close to his heart; however, his role as Dr. Jaikal in TV Serial Shaktiman has been close to his heart which had also gained him much popularity.

While speaking about his up-coming short film based on ‘Womanism’, he spoke about how women is  exploited in the work place (offices, banks, schools etc) and how it is wrong.

While speaking about his plans to start a Media and Acting Institute in the city with the help of his Public Relations Manager Amanpreet fondly known as VJ Ammy, he opined that not only Orange city but other tier-two cities too has a great amount of raw talent. He said that all that these youth require is a slight polishing and training in the right direction which can help them in their career in films and TV serials.
