VIA tax and corporate law forum to hold programme titled “challenges & expectations from modi government”

viaIt’s a budget time & the new Union Government is all set to present its first Budget for the year 2014-15 on 10th of July. With clear mandate at the center, there is a huge bundle expectation from Modi Government and his team. Also, it’s a time for the new government to get down to serious business and deliver. With out of box thinking of the present Government, everyone is confident that the new government would revive back the Indian economy.  Industries & public are anxiously waiting to know the reforms measures & policies that would be initiated by the new Government to create better administrative environment & to direct economic graph surge upward.

To understand the budget better & create greater awareness amongst all stakeholders, a programme is organized by VIA Tax & Corporate Law forum. The programme is divided in two parts. The first part of the programme is about understanding the Gross Domestic Product (GDP) which is a benchmark to gauge the health of a country’ economy. How it is measured, the basic concept underlying it, approach followed for working it out & its importance would be presented by the past president of Nagpur Branch of CA Institute & an eminent CA Abhijit Kelkar through his presentation titled “GDP Decoded”.

How could the new government handle the economic situation? Whether the government could deliver the promises made in its election manifesto?  What are the serious challenges before the Modi Government to revive back the economy and make country a super economic power?
