After wooing us with their chemistry in Remo D’Souza’s 2015 dance drama film ABCD 2, Varun Dhawan and Shraddha Kapoor are next teaming up for Jayesh Pradhan’s upcoming film Nawabzaade. Produced by Remo’s production house, Nawabzaade, will also star Raghav Juyal, Punit Pathak and Dharmesh Yelande in pivotal roles and is a dance-based venture. Earlier this month, the actor gave us a glimpse of their song High Rated Gabru by sharing several pictures from the set. Sung by Guru Randhawa, High Rated Gabru will be peppy track and will be the actors’ special appearance in the film.
Giving us update about the project, the Badlapur actor revealed that the first track of the film High Rated Gabru will release on Thursday. Taking to his Instagram page, he shared the motion poster with a caption, “BOOOm #HIGHRATEDGABRU is back with me and @shraddhakapoor for #nawabzaade out in 2 days @remodsouza .My boyzzzz @punitjpathak @dharmesh0011 @raghavjuyal are back as well for their new film catch it soon. @rahuldid bhai Zaraa step dekhaaa do public ko.” Shraddha too shared the motion poster, writing, “Boom!#HighRatedGabru again. This time with me and @varundvn from #Nawabzaade. Out in 2 days.✌ @gururandhawa @remodsouza @raghavjuyal @dharmesh0011 @punitjpathak @NawabzaadeMovie.”
Nawabzaade is reportedly said to release in August 2018. The film also brings back Remo D’Souza’s Dance India Dance champions Punit Pathak, Dharmesh and Raghav Juyal among others. The team has previously teamed up for ABCD 2. Talking about Varun’s current projects, the actor is currently busy shooting Sui Dhaaga– Made In India is inspired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s Make in India initiative. He will also be seen in Kalank.
