In order to facilitate appointment of 50 percent permanent teaching staff in colleges affiliated to Rashtrasant Tukadoji Maharaj Nagpur University (RTMNU), the varsity authorities on Wednesday invited detail information of NET-SET and Ph.D. qualified candidates.
The NET-SET and Ph.D. qualified candidates will have to fill up the information on the Nagpur University’s website. The Information about these candidates will be given to the colleges requiring NET-SET and Ph.D. teachers.
This initiative of the varsity will facilitate in filling the posts in the colleges which do not have regular teachers. On July 1, the Taywade committee, formed to suggest solution over having 50 percent regular teachers in colleges, has given time till October 31 for the appointment of regular teaching staff in colleges.
Many engineering, Management and other colleges have since long running without regular teachers. They appoint only contributory teachers but the university has now made mandatory to them to appoint regular teachers.
