UPSC IFS 2014: Shortlisted candidates for interview

Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has released the call letters against all the candidates who have been shortlisted for the personal interview session, to be recruited to the Indian Forest Services (IFS) under this year’s recruitment session.

Candidates should note that the procedure of downloading the admit cards, would continue successfully only in cases of candidates, who have been shortlisted for the interview. Candidates must note that UPSC would not send any admit cards or call letters (e-summon letters) by post. It can be downloaded by adding Roll number through UPSC’s official website.

The IFS (Mains) was carried out in two sessions on November 22, 2014. The centres for this exam were Bhopal, Chennai, Delhi, Dispur (Guwahati), Hyderabad, Kolkata,Lucknow, Nagpur, Port Blair and Shimla.

The pattern of the IFS Examination has been changed from 2013 with the introduction of screening mechanism through Civil Services (Preliminary) examination. All the candidates applying for Indian Forest Service Examination are therefore required to appear in the Civil Services (Preliminary) Examination and qualify the same for going to the second stage of IFS (written and interview).
