Nagpur News : A youth allegedly outraged the modesty of a 13-year-old girl and issued threatening warnings to her on Sunday evening. The incidence took place under the jurisdiction of Nandanvan police station.
According to information, the unknown accused between the age of 20 and 22 called the 13-year-old victim on the pretext of informing her something. He took the girl to an under construction building and outraged her modesty. He also threatened the girl of dire consequences if she narrates the incidence to anyone. However, as soon as the girl reached her house, she narrated the incidence to her parents who later took her to Nandanvan police station and lodged a complaint against the unknown youth.
Cops have registered an offence under Sections 354 (b) read with sub sections 8 of Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act 2012. Further investigations are under way.
