Nagpur: An unidentified individual was discovered dead at Itwari Railway Station on Sunday after allegedly committing suicide by hanging himself from a tree. The incident took place in the vicinity of Platform 1, where the GRP Itwari received a distress call at approximately 10 am.

Upon reaching the scene, GRP personnel found the lifeless body of a shirtless man, estimated to be between 35 and 40 years old, hanging from a tree amidst dense bushes. The investigators faced difficulties in establishing the deceased person’s identity.

In response to the incident, the police have registered a case of accidental death. Assistant Police Inspector Surendra Sawle has been assigned to lead the investigation and unravel the circumstances surrounding this tragic event.
