Nagpur: Hordes of people ended up losing crores of rupees after being lured into job promise which turned out to be fake. The fake placement agency has been defrauding unemployed youths for over 5 years, assuring them of employment in public works department.
Ganeshpeth police have arrested seven fraudsters of an interstate gang in this connection.
The accused have been identified as Nikita Meshram (29, Bezanbag), Puja Jayant Deshmukh (30, Noida), Pranay Anil Jayse (25, Mehdibagh), Sanjay Dhargave (35), Roshan Kishore Nagrale (34, Siddharth nagar), Dharmkirti Manerao (40) and Vidyasagar Janadan Raut (54, Laghuvetan colony). They are are currently under police arrest. Nikita Meshram has been identified as the mastermind of the scam.
