Ulukgud mobile app starts up in Nagpur!

Nagpur: With the Start Up culture going strong among the young entrepreneurs of Nagpur, churning out various digital helpings for end users, here comes another useful wellness and lifestyle mobile application called ULUKGUD, floated by two budding entrepreneurs of Nagpur. Gaurav Basra who hails from Nagpur and currently based in Singapore has partnered with another buddy from Nagpur Abbas Ali to establish this innovative application under Nubliz Pte Ltd, the company conceptualized by them.

Gaurav got this application formally launched at the hands of Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis at the latter’s official residence in Mumbai.

unnamed (1)Inspired by the vision of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, both the entrepreneurs are aiming to build up a synchronized platform for the businesses serving in wellness and lifestyle industry.

Talking to Nagpur Today, Gaurav Basra, CEO Nubliz Pte Ltd informed that they have signed up 70 vendors within a span of 2 months before the official launch of this application. “This is the location based application which would not just show your spa or salons but anything and everything from the wellness industry like workouts, gym, yoga facility etc,” he told Nagpur Today.

Detailing about other key positions in the company, he said that Abbas Ali is serving as the company’s CTO whereas Deepak Gurnani is the Angel investor and Director whereas Krishnakant Singhal is chief architect in the company. All the four are share holders in the company, he added.

unnamed (2)Detailing about the application he said, ULukGud  (www.ulukgud.com) promises higher productivity, more transparency and better customer experience for businesses and consumers. “Our Mobile App help consumers to book appointments instantly and help businesses track their schedules and manage their CRM database. We cater to the entire cycle of wellness and lifestyle and provide on-line loyalty management, deals, coupons and marketing promotions. The global industry revenue is estimated at 100 BN USD and we have taken a small step to mark our name in this industry,” he quipped.

Basra added that their company has received seed funding of 200,000 Singapore dollars in March this year. The investors are serial investors as they have invested in robotics and reward management also.

Deepak Gurnani, angel investor, has also been instrumental in incubating and mentoring highly praised startups of Singapore (Rotimatic, a Roti Making Robot). Gurnani has committed to support and nurture the Start-Up environment in Nagpur and help us setup an incubator to encourage more successful ventures based from Nagpur.
