UK ‘Country Partner’ for upcoming Nagpur Global Summit

The second edition of the Nagpur Global Summit organized by ‘Nagpur First’ is attracting a lot of international attention this year. It is to be held on 21st and 22 nd November at Persistent auditorium, Nagpur.

Dinesh Jain, President of Nagpur First informed NT that the British government officials expressed keen interest in the concept of Nagpur First and offered to be ‘Country partner’ in the NGS. The same interest was evinced by Sweden and Australia also. Some of the dignitaries who will be addressing the NGS are:

Ms. Fredrika Ombrant, Consul General of Sweden at Mumbai,
Mr. Kumar Iyer, Dy Consul General of UK and
Mr. Mark Pierce, Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade, Australia
Bill Boerm Chairman, Board of Directors Sister Cities and President of California Wine services
Apart from these officials, representatives of Malavi, Kenya are also expected. ‘Sister City International’s’ Chairman will be gracing the do himself.

For city Doctors

There is going to be a special session devoted to the concept of turning Nagpur in to a Health tourism destination – in fact this was one of the goals of MIHAN when it was first conceptualized.

Some noted NRI Doctors like Dr. Sanjiv Petkar, Consultant Cardiologist, UK and Dr. Vishal Sahni, Consultant Elbow, Hand surgery, UK will be addressing audience at these sessions.
