Two owners of mobile shoppy booked for stocking drugs, other stuff

Nagpur: The Food and Drugs Administration (FDA) and Pachpaoli police have booked two young boys, owners of a mobile shoppy, on the charges of stocking a large quantity of medicines meant for sale without permission.

The complainant, Shahjaj Taji Khalil Taji (34), Drugs Inspector, FDA, received information that the two accused Faraz Farooq Khan (23) and Ayan Ahmed Imran Ahmed (22), both running Raza Mobile Stores situated at Teka Naka, Habib Nagar near Milan Hall, have stocked a huge quantity of pharmaceuticals and other stuff meant dor sale-purchase without due permission.

Subsequently, the mobile shoppy was raided by FDA and Pachpaoli cops. The raiding authorities found the medicine stock at the premises of the shop. The stock was seized and a case was registered in this connection.

PSI Kachore has booked the two accused Faraz Farooq Khan and Ayan Ahmed Imran Ahmed under Sections 201, 203, 212, 278, 328 of IPC read with Sub-Section 18(C) of Drugs and Cosmetics Act 1940. Further probe is on.
