Nagpur: Two sanitation supervisors from the Nagpur Municipal Corporation’s Lakadganj and Ashinagar zones have been suspended for negligence in their duties. Municipal Commissioner and Administrator Dr. Abhijit Chaudhary has issued suspension orders against the two workers as part of disciplinary action.
The suspended employees are Rajesh Jumle, a sanitation supervisor in Ward No. 23 of the Lakadganj zone, and Ritesh Usarbarse, a sanitation supervisor in Ward No. 2 of the Ashinagar zone.

Surprise inspections are being conducted across all ten zones of the Municipal Corporation by assistant commissioners and senior officers in response to complaints about cleanliness. During these inspections, employees found negligent in their duties are subject to disciplinary action. Rajesh Jumle and Ritesh Usarbarse were found negligent during surprise inspections in their respective zones, leading to their suspension.
Following the Municipal Commissioner’s directives, Additional Commissioner (City) Mrs. Anchal Goyal issued the suspension orders for both sanitation supervisors.
