Two persons were killed and Nine other people were injured when the Tata Sumo they were travelling in collided head on with a truck near Nilaj, Khandala Village in Kanhan under Nagpur district, police said.
The vehicle carrying members of a marriage party was on way to Nagpur from Mauda village when it collided with a truck coming from the opposite direction while overtaking the other vehicle.
Sumo Driver identified as Ganpat Hadkade died on the spot while the member of the band party Ramaji collapsed in the hospital.
All injured have been sent to Nagpur for treatment. More details are awaited.
