Two juvenile offenders held in Ladali Sari Centre cash loot case

The proverbial long arm of law, sooner or later catches up with the criminals, once again became clear when criminals who had robbed accountant of Ladali Sari Centre were arrested by police.

Last month, on June 16 at around 12-15 the complainant, Manohar Rambhau Chandekar, 49, an accountant with Ladali Sari Centre, while going to deposit the shop cash in bank was waylaid near Hanuman temple on Sangh Building Road. The accused had forcibly snatched Chandekar’s scooty and cash of Rs 2,50,000/ collectively valued at Rs 2,70,000/. Chandekar was severely beaten up by the miscreants at the time of crime. Police sub-inspector, Ambhore of Kotwali police station had registered the offence.

On July 21 police got a tip off about the crime and they laid a trap. During this exercise, two juvenile offenders were rounded up, who are residents of Kanji House, Near Rani Durgavati square, Binaki, Mangalwari. On detailed inquiry, these juvenile offenders confessed that they along with one more accomplice had committed the offence of waylaying. The juvenile offenders are taken into custody.

The investigation and arrests were carried out under the guidance of DCP, Kolhe, ACP, Nilesh Raut by senior police inspector, Avinash Shilimkar, police inspector, S M Gaikwad, police inspector, Atulkar, police constable, Sanjay Devkar, Datta Bagul, Satish Nimje, Ram Yadav, Sunil Wankhede.
