Two held for murder

Nagpur: With the temperatures soaring up, the temperaments of many youth too seem to be soaring high. Two youth were arrested for murdering another youth for unknown reasons on May 17, 2016.

The deceased identified as Golu alias Vijay Hingnekar aged 27 years and a resident of Sanjay Gandhinagar, Near Hanuman Mandir, Hudkeshwar. The accused had murdered the deceased with sharp edged weapons in the Babul bushes in the open ground opposite to Provident Fund Office in Hudkeshwar area.

After investigations, the Hudkeshwar police managed to arrest the two accused involved in this case. The accused are identified as

1. Akash Bandu Khadatkar aged 20 years and a resident of a rented house of Sharif Tawhera, Mota Tajbagh, Sindhiban and
2. Rohit alias Golu Mukandan Nimje aged 22 years and a resident of Umred Shantinagar, Behid Dewa Saoji Lodge and permanent resident of rented house belonging to Wasim Khan Iqbal Khan, Sindhiban, Mota Tajbagh.
The cops are yet to ascertain the exact motive behind the murder.

On the basis of the complaint lodged by the father of the deceased identified as Mukundrao Hingnekar aged 56 years, Police Sub Inspector Hiwarkar of Hudkeshwar Police Station has registered a case of murder under sections 302 and 34 of Indian Penal Code and is investigating further. Both the accused involved in the murder have been arrested.
