Nagpur: In two separate incidents of suicides, a 27-year-old youth reportedly ended his life by hanging to a ceiling fan under MIDC Police Station while a 26-year-old reportedly killed himself by jumping into Futala Lake under Ambazari Police Station here, on Tuesday.
In the first incident, Sumit Anil Bahekar (27), a resident of Shiv Vihar Colony, Jaitala Road was found hanging from a ceiling fan at his home on Tuesday afternoon. Based on the complaint lodged by Sumit’s father, MIDC Police rushed to the spot and brought down the body. Cops have registered a case of accidental death and have sent the body for autopsy.

Similarly, Shubham Mohan Yankeshwar (26), a resident of Mohan Nagar, Ganesh Mandir reportedly ended his life by jumping into Futala Lake on Tuesday night. The cops have registered a case of accidental death. Further investigation is underway.
