Nagpur: The Pulse Polio Vaccination Drive, aimed at Polio-Free India, was undertaken on Sunday for the kids between the age of zero and five years even this year. The Health department of Nagpur Municipal Corporation had made elaborate arrangements to ensure each and every child is vaccinated.
People seem to recollect remember the booming words of Amitabh Bachan’s “Do Boond Zindagi Ki” to encourage the citizens to administer Polio drops to the infants during Pulse Polio Drive.
Even private hospitals seemed to show conscientiousness and had placed tables at many squares, manned by nurses to administer polio drops to infants between the age of zero and five years.
