In the first road mishap which occurred on December 28, 2014, at a spot hit opposite to the Shyam Metal shop on Chindwada-Nagpur Road, an unidentified man was killed when some vehicle which was plying at a great speed hit and fled the scene. The victim was killed on the spot.
The Koradi police has registered a case against unidentified driver under section 279, 304 (A) of IPC and under section 134 and 177 of Motor Vehicle Act. PI Gowardipe is investigating into the case.
The second case occurred at the wee hours of December 29, 2014 at 12:30 am. The driver of Maruti Omni bearing registration number MH-31/ Z 9751 identified as Rajkumar Januji Chaure aged 48 years and a resident of Plot no 05, Ghoskhad Road, Kamptee Nagpur was speeding towards Kamptee.
When he reached the Maruti Showroom, he lost control over his vehicle and rammed into the road divider resulting in instant death. Police Inspector Haurgade of Jaripatka Police Station has registered a case of 304 (A) of IPC against the accused who is also the deceased in the case.
