Nagpur: In another shameful incident that has come to fore, two youth have been booked for attempting to rape a woman and a girl. These two unconnected incidents occurred at different places. According to police sources, the accused identified as Ashish Sontakke aged 22 years had attempted to rape a seven-year-old girl between 2 pm to 2:30 on July 26, 2015. When the lecherous youth Ashish Sontakke saw the 7-year-old girl playing alone, he developed a sexual urge. He called the small girl with a lure to give her chocolate and later committed the heinous act.
Police Sub Inspector Netam of Sakhardhara registered a case against the accused Ashish Sontakke under relevant sections of Indian Penal Code.
The second incident occurred in the jurisdiction of Ajni Police Station. The accused identified Rajendra Padole a resident of Ekta Flat Society, Kachore Colony, Chinchbhavan area is accused of befriending a 32-year-old woman and a resident of Ajni on phone. The accused then intensified his closeness with the woman victim. The woman alleged that on July 20, 2015, finding the victim alone in the house, the accused raped the woman.
On the basis of the complaint lodged by the victim, Police Sub Inspector Chaudhari registered a case against the accused Rajendra Padole under relevant sections of Indian Penal Code. The woman in her complaint also alleged that the accused also abused her with casteist remarks and abuses. The Police are investigating further.
