Third-party websites, including DownRightNow and DownDetector, are also showing service disruption at Twitter.
It seems the website was completely down for a while, as many users globally initially posted about this, though the matter seems to have got resolved.
However, at the time of writing the story, many users are still tweeting about blank timelines.
