While this may sound like Bollywood film tale to you, it turns out to be true and real!
In 2013, Alka (name changed) met TV actor Arman Tahil at a temple. The two kept meeting each other in parties and soon “fell in love.” For Alka, Tahil meant the world but she had little inkling of his plans.
In her complaint filed with the police, Sneha has claimed that Tahil raped him repeatedly on the pretext of marriage. The model told the police that Tahil told her that she loves only her and wanted to marry her. “In March 2013, he raped me. He told me that he would to his parents about our relationship but nothing happened,” Alka told the police.
Alka described Tahil as a “sweet” person. The model said that Tahil persuaded her to move to his house in 2015 but after some days, Tahil’s behaviour changed. He started demanding money from her claiming that his career was floundering. Alka told the police she has given him lakhs till now.
Tahil started having fights with Alka on regularly. She claimed that he had relations with other women too. However, he kept on convincing her of marriage. “He raped me several times, and promised to marry me,” she told the cops.
It was only on June 8 that Alka approached the police when Tahil didn’t return to the house. She contacted him but he refused to marry her. The model then lodged a case against him.
The Versova Police has registered an FIR against Tahil and booked him under IPC’s section 376 (rape), 420 (forgery) and 506. A manhunt is on to nab Tahil.
