Nagpur: Trying to save a girl proved fatal for a scooter rider as he lost balance and crashed onto a road divider. The grievously injured aged man died on the spot. The deceased has been identified as Gopal Kohad (63), resident of Galli No. 6, Chandramani Nagar. The accident took place on Tuesday.
According to details, Gopal was proceeding towards Chandramani Nagar Garden on his scooter. Midway, a young girl suddenly came in front of Gopal and in order to save the girl from the collision, he swerved his scooter but lost balance and hit the road divider. As a result, Gopal received serious injuries. He was taken to GMCH but doctors there pronounced him ‘brought dead.’
Ajni cops have registered a case and launched investigation into the matter.
