Nagpur News : Two tricksters looted a chilly trader of Rs 1.46 lakh on Monday evening in front of Kalamna Market Gate. According to police, Dastgiri Ramayya Gurrum (47), a native of Dhamangaon, district Chandrapur, is a chili supplier. He had sold chilies a Kalamna-based wholesaler.
After collecting money from the wholesaler, Dastgiri was coming out of Kalamna market. Near the gate, two men imposed as special officers stopped him. They showed some forged documents and conducted a physical search. On finding cash, they asked Dastgiri to keep it in his bag. By diverting his attention, the tricksters stole the cash from him.
Kalamna police registered a case under Sec 419, 420 and 34 of the IPC. Further investigations are under way.
