Nagpur: A transgender person was killed in an accident while illegally collecting money from the truck drivers near Panjri Hotel La Karma, under the jurisdiction of Beltarodi Police Station in Nagpur.
The deceased has been identified as Abul Chidig Khan (19). The deceased originally hailed from West Bengal but was currently staying in the Jaripatka area.

According to police, Abul and Sahalu Mulla (25), also from West Bengal, were collecting money from truck drivers near the Panjri Toll Plaza. An unidentified truck knocked down Abul Khan, causing grievous injuries. Khan was rushed to a hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.
Car knocks woman dead in Mankapur
An elderly woman was knocked dead by a speeding four-wheeler near Nelson Square in Mankapur. The driver fled the scene, evading potential public outrage.
The victim, Shakuntala Kalbande (75), was a resident of Surendragad, Seminary Hills. As she walked along the street, a rashly-driven vehicle hit her. She was rushed to Mayo Hospital, where the doctors declared her ‘brought dead’.
