Tragedy in Nagpur: Toddler drowns in residential well

Nagpur: In a heartbreaking incident, a family in Nagpur mourns the loss of their 2-year-old son, Rudransh, who tragically drowned after falling into a well located on their residential premises at Swavalambi Nagar.

The incident occurred on Wednesday afternoon when Rudransh, son of Ashish Krishnarao Donarkar (34), was playing in the courtyard of their home at Plot No 87, Manish Layout, Swavalambi Nagar. Around 12:30 pm, the toddler accidentally slipped into the well.

Despite swift efforts to rescue him, Rudransh was pulled out of the well and immediately rushed to the hospital. Unfortunately, the medical team declared him dead upon arrival.

The Rana Pratap Nagar Police have registered a case of accidental death and are conducting further investigations into the incident.

This tragic event serves as a poignant reminder of the importance of safety measures around residential wells, especially in areas accessible to young children.
