Traffic police dept staff member dies while swimming

On May 28, 2014 around 10-45, dead body of Dilip Hiralal Waghmare, 50, a resident of, Katol Road, near Narmada Colony, Nagpur was recovered from Gorewada lake. The recovery was made by Gittiikhadan police after getting report from Rupesh Vithoba Nanhe, 16, a resident of, Bornala, Friends Colony, Nagpur.

Police sub-inspector, Bonde is investigating into the matter.

As per information received, said Dilip Waghmare was staff member of Traffic Police department, west Nagpur.

It is said that Waghmare had gone for a swim when his leg got stuck in the lake causing his death.
