Nagpur city too is now waking-up to the dangers faced by traffic cops on duty. Many of us do not even realize that hundreds of such attacks have been recorded over the past few years. Statistics provided by the traffic department show assaults on as many as 208 Traffic Department personnel in Mumbai alone in a span of four and a half years.
