Nagpur: Sakkardara Police in Nagpur booked the Chief Managing Director (CMD), Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and senior officers of Tradewings Solutions Limited for allegedly duping 103 investors of over Rs 1.84 crore by promising high returns and free foreign tours.
According to police, the company had opened its office at Plot No 13, Mire Layout, Bhande Plot. The company’s Chief Managing Director Lohitsingh Dharmasingh Subhedar; CEO Vijay Jyotiram Patil, a resident of Khupire, Taluka Karveer, Kolhapur, and other officers accepted investments worth over Rs 1.84 crore from 103 persons between July 21, 2021 and August 1, 2022 by promising them high returns, a four-wheeler to each investor and a foreign trip.
However, the company neither gave any returns to the investors nor returned the invested amount to any of the investors. Following a complaint lodged by the investors, Sakkardara Police registered a case under Sections 406, 420, 34 of the Indian Penal Code, read with Section 3, 4 of the Maharashtra Protection of Interest of Depositors (In Financial Establishments) Act, and Section 21 of Banning of Unregulated Deposit Schemes Act against the accused persons. Further probe is underway.
