The Toronto Sixers announced KIXO9, an online casino & sports betting platform, as their Title Sponsor (Front-of-Jersey) for the Canada Super60 tournament. The logo appeared on the front of the playing kits worn by both the men’s and women’s squads. The Toronto Sixers announced the deal on Instagram, calling it a “big partnership” as the Toronto franchise fielded teams in both the men’s and women’s competitions.

The partnership came as the Sixers prepared for the tournament, which was played in the 60-ball format, a shortened version of the game designed for a faster pace. The front-of-jersey sponsorship with KIXO9 began alongside the Toronto Sixers’ Canada Super60 campaign. While the brand appeared prominently on the playing kits, the partnership centred on the team’s participation in one of Canada’s latest cricket competitions and its roster of international cricket talent.
Among the players featured as part of the sponsorship were Kieron Pollard, Nicholas Pooran, and Daniel Sams. The trio brought experience from different parts of the global cricket landscape, adding international recognition to the Toronto Sixers’ presence in the tournament.
The second season of the tournament was played at BC Place in Vancouver, and it was a successful one for both Sixers teams.
The Sixers men’s team entered the final after a nine-run victory over Mississauga Masters in the first semi-final, while Vancouver Anchors booked the other spot after beating Brampton Blitz by six wickets in the second.
In the final, Vancouver Anchors posted 164/3 after being sent in, with Obus Pienaar making 82 off 21 balls and captain Moeen Ali adding to the scoreboard with 45 off 18. Nicholas Pooran responded with an impressive 67 from 23 balls. Motivated by this performance, the Toronto Sixers went on to reach 168 for 5, winning the match – and the tournament – by 5 wickets. Pooran was named the Player of the Tournament.
The Sixers women’s team also took home the championship trophy. They won against the Vancouver Anchors by nine wickets to move onto the finals against the Vancouver Warriors. The Sixers came out on top against the Warriors with 85/4, winning by six wickets.
The standout players in the campaign were Maddy Villiers, Bess Heath, Ella McCaughan, and Sterre Kalis. The players created the perfect balance of experience, aggressive playing, depth, and well-roundedness. Together, they pulled off an impressive championship run.
