Top officials cast votes in Nagpur Municipal Corporation elections

Nagpur: Senior district and civic officials exercised their franchise on polling day in the Nagpur Municipal Corporation (NMC) general elections 2025–26, underscoring the importance of democratic participation.

District Collector Dr Vipin Itankar, along with his wife, cast his vote at the Pink Booth set up at Sarav Prashikshan Sanstha, Ravinagar.

The Chief Election Observer for the NMC elections, Dr Madhavi Khode-Chavre, voted at the polling booth located at Tiny Tots Convent, Narendra Nagar.

Meanwhile, Municipal Commissioner and Election Officer Dr Abhijeet Chaudhari also exercised his right to vote along with his wife at the Pink Booth at Sarav Prashikshan Sanstha, Ravinagar.

State Chief Information Commissioner Rahul Pande too cast his vote in Nagpur along with his spouse.

The participation of top administrative and election officials was seen as a message encouraging citizens to actively take part in the electoral process.
