mohan bhagwatNagpur: Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) chief Mohan Bhagwat gave his reaction, for the first time, over the raging controversy engulfing the Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU). Attending a programme in city on Thursday, Bhagwat said, “Today, concerted efforts are being made to teach chanting of ‘Bharat Mata Ki Jay.’ This chanting that denotes patriotic sense should be the natural quality of today’s youths. But today, the number of elements advocating to say ‘no’ to this chant seems higher in proportions,” said the RSS chief pointing fingers to those intellectuals who were seen supported the students shouting anti-national slogans.

The RSS chief was attending the ‘Matrushakti Satkar Samaroh’ held at Gajanan Mandir in Reshimbagh.
