In a tragic incident, a one and half year old girl lost her life when she accidentally fell into a large vessel having hot “Kadhi.” The incident occurred in Gittikhadan area on Saturday night. The kid succumbed to burn injuries on Sunday night.
According to police, the one and half year old girl Bhumi Manoj Kodape, resident of Gautam Nagar, Gittikhadan, was playing in her house at about 7 pm on Saturday. While playing, Bhumi accidentally slipped and fell into the large vessel having hot “Kadhi.” Bhumi, as a result, received critical burn injuries and was rushed to Mayo Hospital. However, the kid succumbed to her injuries at 10 pm on Sunday while undergoing treatment.
Gittikhadan PSI Bhagat, on the basis of information received in this connection, registered a case of accidental death and probing the matter further.
