Nagpur: Tirpude Institute of Applied and Retrospective Arts (TiARA) announces a skit competition, to be held on 9th & 10th December, 2015. The competition will be conducted in English, Hindi and Hinglish languages and will have a time limit of 20 minutes for each participating team, including set up.
This presents an excellent opportunity for all the amateur artists to showcase their acting & directing skills. Final round will be directly conducted. Venue will be the Tirpude College open air amphitheatre and the competitions will start at 7.00 PM on both the days.
This competition is open to all and each team shall comprise of at least two actors. Prizes will be awarded to winners and runners up under various categories like Best Play, Best Direction, Best Script & Best Male Actor & Best Female Actor.
The institute, which conducts one year Diploma courses in Theatre & Performing Arts, Mass Communication & Journalism and Creative Writing, has appealed to all theatre enthusiasts to take advantage of this opportunity and participate in the competition.
Participation fee is Rs.500 per team and further details can be had from TiARA office at 1, Balasaheb Tirpude Marg, Civil Lines, Nagpur.
