Three including a young girl commit suicide

Nagpur: In what could be mentioned as unfortunate, three more persons including a young girl committed suicide in the last 24 hours i.e. March 18, 2016 in separate incidents. Surprisingly on March 17, 2016, too three persons including a married woman had committed suicide.

The deceased include Sagar Omprakash Lad, Surbhi Ramesh Kumbre and Durgesh Shahu. According to police sources, Omprakash Lad’s son Sagar Lad a resident of house near Sai Temple, Kale Layout, Jingabai Takli, Mankapur committed suicide by hanging himself from the fan hook with the help of a nylon rope when he was alone in the house on March 18, 2016. The reason why the youth took the extreme step could not be ascertained as yet. On receipt of information, Police Sub Inspector Atram of Mankapur Police Station reached the spot and after completing the necessary formalities the cops have dispatched the body to Government hospital for post-mortem. The Mankapur Police have registered a case of accidental death and are investigating further.

The second incident is of a young girl identified as Surbhi Ramesh Kumbre aged 18 years and a resident of Mhalgi Nagar, Hudkeshwar committed suicide by hanging herself with the help of a shawl (Dupatta) when she was alone in the house at around 4: 15 pm. Here again the reason for her committing suicide could not be ascertained as yet.

On receipt of information, Woman Police Sub Inspector K D Kokne of Hudkeshwar Police Station reached the spot and after completing the necessary formalities the cops have dispatched the body to Government hospital for post-mortem. The Hudkeshwar Police have registered a case of accidental death and are investigating further.

While speaking to Nagpur Today, In-Charge of Hudkeshwar Police Station, Police Inspector Raja Pawar said that the deceased girl was a student of XIIth class. It came to fore that her parents had scolded her over studies. However, the real cause behind her taking the extreme step could be ascertained as yet.

The third incident occurred in Mankapur area. The deceased Brijesh Shahu a resident of Jain Nagar, Mankapur had committed suicide by hanging himself from the wooden rafter of the house using a nylon rope at around 8:30 pm on March 18, 2016. Here again the cause of death could be ascertained as yet.

On receipt of information, Police Sub Inspector Gaikwad of Mankapur Police Station reached the spot and after completing the necessary formalities the cops have dispatched the body to Government hospital for post-mortem. The Mankapur Police have registered a case of accidental death and are investigating further.

The young Indians are said to be at high risk claim experts since more middle-class youths strive to meet achievements, expectations, and new technologies like cell phones and social networking sites is indirectly aiding in breaking down traditional family units once relied on for support. One of the problems is getting psychiatric counseling when it is needed especially in teenagers; depression is considered a major cause of teen suicide.” Some of the factors and risks contributed to youth suicide can be said to be arising out of academic pressure, alcohol consumption, the loss of a valued relationship, frequent change of residency, and poor family patterns.
