Three-day ‘Granthotsav’ concludes

Granthotsav4Nagpur: The three-day ‘Granthotsav,’ being organized at Morris College near Samvidhan Chowk, concluded on Friday. North Nagpur MLA Dr Milind Mane was the chief guest. Other personalities present on the occasion include Resident Editor of Loksatta Devendra Gawande, Dr Indrajit Orke, Nagpur Zilla Granthalay Sangh President Haridas Tembhurne, District Information Officer Anil Thakre, Kavita Mahajan, Ashvini Divan, Ratnakar Nalavade, Sunil Patil and others.

Speaking on the occasion, Dr Mane said that habits of reading books in today’s fast-paced world. Now, writers should easy but heart penetrating language so that readers read it with interest and in shortest time. Every word and expression in the book should be spell-binding for the readers.

Words are a great weapon. The words should be clear and should be used in an appropriate manner. A single inappropriate words threatens to create upheaval in society, stated Dr Mane.
