Thieves decamp with booty with Rs 3.24 lakh from Gittikhadan

Nagpur: Refreshment of a tour of a 39-year-old man slipped away when he discovered that he had been robbed off of his valuables and cash collectively worth Rs 3.24 lakh in his absence.

As per details, Gulam Murtaja Ahmad Khan (39), a resident of Rathod layout, had gone to Balaghat with his entire family on Sunday between 11 am and 7 pm. When he came back, he was shocked to find the broken lock. He rushed inside the house only to discover that he had been robbed off cash Rs 2.70 lakh and gold ornaments collectively worth Rs 3.24 lakh from the steel almirah of his bedroom.

He rushed to Gittikhadan police station and lodged a complaint against unidentified thieves. Cops have registered an offence under Sections 454 and 380 of the IPC and started their investigations.
