The joint workshop of the Center for Development Research and Maharashtra National Law University was successfully conducted.

Nagpur:– The workshop on “Law and Human Resource Development: Challenges and Opportunities in a Changing World” organized by the Center for Development Research and Maharashtra National Law University was successfully conducted today in Nagpur.

The inauguration was done by Dr. Vijendra Kumar, the Vice-Chancellor of Maharashtra National Law University. The workshop covered topics such as the “Prevention of Sexual Harassment Act २०१३,” presented by Company Secretary Deepti Joshi, and “Role of Legal Professionals in Human Resource Management,” presented by Company Secretary Shantanu Jog. Dr. Suresh Pandilwar discussed challenges in industrial relations in his lecture on “Challenges in Industrial Relations.”

The workshop provided valuable insights into evolving industrial relationships. The event was attended by various dignitaries, including Dr. Ashish Dixit, Prof. Dr. Mukta Chavan Dev, Dr. Raman Tirpude, and Dr. Sushant Vaghmare. The information about this workshop was provided to the students by Dr. Kapil Chandrayan, the head of the Center for Development Research and consultant to the Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship. He acquainted the students with various opportunities available through the Center for Development Research. Dr. Avinash Acharya, Senior Manager (Legal), Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Company Limited (MSEDCL), delivered an introductory speech during the panel discussion and provided detailed information on the three topics covered in the workshop. He also encouraged and inspired the students.

The information shared during the workshop, including discussions on legal aspects and human resource development, proved to be informative for the participants.
