Nagpur: A teenager was stabbed to death and his father injured critically when four members of a family attacked them over playing of songs on Laxmi Pujan day in Kalamna area. All the four accused have been arrested.
The complainant, Bindabai Dayalu Khaire (45), resident of Dipti Signal, Kalamna, told police that the accused Premlal Bandu Kotle (45), Ashish alias Chaitram Premlal Kotle (20), Roshan Premlal Kotle (26), and Manoj alias Langda Premlal Kotle (25), picked quarrel with her husband Dayalu Khaire and son Krunal over playing of songs on home theatre around 5.30 pm on Laxmi Pujan day (October 19). The accused asked the Kahire family to stop playing the songs. As the wordy duel intensified, the four accused attacked Dayalu with knife and inflicted stab injuries on his abdomen and chest. Seeing his father in danger, Krunal tried to save him but was attacked by the four accused. The accused stabbed Krunal on his abdomen and chest and killed him on the spot. The profusely bleeding Dayalu was taken to a hospital for treatment. After the bloody incident, the accused fled the spot.
Kalamna PI M D Chate, based on the complaint of Bindabai Khaire, has booked the four accused under Sections 302, 307, 34 of the IPC and managed to arrest them. Further probe is underway.
