Meanwhile Security has been tightened inside as well as outside the Vidarbha Cricket Association (VCA) Jamtha stadium where a cricket match is scheduled to start between India and South Africa from November 25. Unprecedented security arrangements have been made in the backdrop of terrorist attacks in Paris as cops are constantly on tenterhooks.

DSC_0347There are specific inputs that Pak-based Hafiz Sayyed, the mastermind of 26/11, is once again plotting to strike in India. The intelligence agencies too have hinted at a possible attack which is keeping cops on their heels. “We do not want to leave anything to chance,” said a senior police official of city police without wishing to be named.

DSC_0360A three-tier security arrangements have been thrown across the hotel in which the teams are staying. The BDDS squad from three districts including Nagpur, Bhandara and Wardha have been kept on high alert to deal with any untoward incident. Cops are combing the nearby areas too to avoid any lapse in security.

The vehicles of those coming to witness the cricket match would be searched thoroughly. Nothing would be allowed to be taken inside the stadium, it was learnt.
