Nagpur: A group of sword-wielding anti-socials entered gathered in front of a man’s house in New Bidipeth area and threatened to murder him over an issue of deployment of a school bus. The incident took place on Friday night.
The main accused Ganesh Ramesh Hiwse (31) of New Bidipeth and his 10-12 accomplices, wielding swords, assembled in front of house of Sunil Trimbakrao Bhugaonkar (54) in the same area around 7 pm on Friday and started hurling filthy abuses and also held a murder threat to him over the issue of deployment of school bus. It could not be ascertained whether the anti-socials were opposing deployment of school bus by Sunil Bhugaonkar or pressing for it.
Sakkardara PSI Fulzele, acting on complaint of Sunil, booked the accused under Sections 143, 147, 148, 149, 294, 506(B), 396, of IPC read with Section 4+24 of Arms Act and searching for them.
